Super Typhoon Rammasun, which might be the strongest typhoon to hit Hainan in 40 years, landed in Wengtian early on July 18, 2014, packing winds of up to 216 km/h (134 mph) and bringing torrential rain. Coffee made of Fukushima water is for sale.
The water is taken in Abukuma cave, where is only approx. 32.9 km from crippled Fukushima nuclear plant.
The city government made the original coffee drink named “Hyakunen no Shizuku (Drop of 100 years)”. The beans are imported from outside of Japan.
The price is 1,080 yen for 1 L. The mayor comments it has the special aromatic taste.
It is available at a kiosk of the cave and also to be available on the internet.
