Pavlof Daily Update issued Dec 8, 2014 11:55 Volcano Alert Level ADVISORY - Aviation Color Code YELLOW

Seismicity at the volcano has been slightly above background levels over the past 24 hours with a short-lived, minor uptick between 09:51 AST (18:51 UTC) and 10:07 AST (19:07 UTC) today. Seismicity currently is back to the levels that preceded this short burst of activity. Nothing significant seen in mostly cloudy satellite and web camera views. Pauses in vigorous eruptive activity of days to weeks are common during eruptive episodes of Pavlof Volcano, and a return to more robust eruptive activity remains possible and could occur with little or no warning.
