Activity Summary: Kīlauea continued to erupt at its summit and within the East Rift Zone. The summit switched from gradual inflation to deflation overnight, and the lava lake fluctuated gently between about 30 and 35 meters. At the middle East Rift Zone, lava flows continue to erupt from the northeast flank of Puʻu ʻŌʻō cone, where a perched lava pond is growing atop a low shield. Subsidence of the Puʻu ʻŌʻō crater floor continued. Gas emissions remained elevated.
