Activity Summary: The eruption continued at the summit and within the east rift zone with continued activity within Pu`u `O`o crater. Yesterday morning, the summit tiltmeter network recorded the switch to weak DI inflationary tilt and the level of the circulating summit lava lake rose slightly. At the middle east rift zone, the lava flow on the Pu`u `O`o crater floor continued to supply lava over the northeast rim and onto the upper north flank of the cone; the Kahauale`a 2 lava flow may be diminished in vigor as a result of this continuing activity but it still appears active.
